Egg hunt #1
We got to get out between the sessions of rain today for a short egg hunt. N Adams Elementary school had this one advertised as rain or shine. The big hunt was postponed until next week, so there will be more action in the near future.
Listen to daddy's comments here. Lol
Highest water
We had some major rains recently. We headed over to the house to see if there was any concern with the small creek rising too high! All looked safe, but I plan to talk to neighbor, Phil as well.

Egg hunt practice
Too bad the rain is not going to allow them to have this egg hunt for real tomorrow. Looks like there is a reschedule for next Sat! = more practice time. I will have to teach them to "box out" the other kids to get more eggs... Hey, I never thought they would be learning Basketball moves in preparation for Jesus' resurection

Rain too much?
In talking to John, he advised we check out the house in the heavy rain. Tomorrow, we shall see how that small creek does behind the house during this heavy rainy season. We are going over there to check it out along with gutters, down spouts etc...
Still waiting on Debbie (realtor) to hear back from bank about getting water turned on to then schedule home inspection.... These things take time....

The house hunt...
We are moving forward with negotiations on the house. We are waiting for the utilities to be turned on in the house so we can schedule the home inspection and structural engineer. After this comes back we will be better equipped for price negotiations.
The girls are so excited about Easter and egg hunting, I haven't had the heart to tell them the big hunt will probably be postponed. Seems like we get one day of sunshine for every two or three days of rain.

So it begins...
I've wanted to get this blog started for a while and finally took the time to get it up and running. We thought we'd us it to keep everyone up to date on the house hunt, and life with the girls.
